A civil suit filed earlier this month against the Town of Kill Devil Hills and three of its officials was removed from state to federal court on Thursday, Feb. 17, by attorneys representing the defendants.

The 1300 block of A Ave. was blocked off for a while Friday afternoon as detectives from the Douglas Police Dept. continued their investigation after making a narcotics seizure.
